Jammer ek het 'n week oorgeslaan, ek moes eers mooi beplan wat volgende sou gebeur ...

Sorry I skipped a week, I first had to plan out carefully what would happen next ...

TRANSLATION:

PANEL 1
Alex: Did I hear that right? Are you going after that crazy person alone?
Louwrens: Alex! What are you doing here? You belong in bed, what with that arm of yours ...
Alex: No way, dude! Don't try to change the subject! Answer my question first ...

PANEL 2
Louwrens: I ... yes. I'm going after Jane alone ... / During the battle, she went into the computer system, defeated all our security measures ... and now she's sabotaged all our fighters' and shuttles' navigation systems ... / It will take a few hours to fix everything. She didn't want to damage us, just make it so that we can't follow her ... / The only working fighter is yours, because it was being repaired, and therefore wasn't registered on the system ... therefore, at most two people can follow Jane through the stargate.

PANEL 3
Louwrens: We can't defeat her, only talk to her. And I know her best ...
Alex: ... okay then ... but promise me that you'll come back alive this time ... you hear?
Louwrens: I promise, Sis ...

I find it interesting that Lawrence reminds me of Xander Harris. Who, ironically enough, strikes me as a younger version of "the chosen one" in the "Army of darkness" trilogy.

@Wolfie_Inu: Kill-all-humans Jane did not want to harm them? Right...

Interesting that they consider themselves brother and sister. I mean, they only share near identical DNA. :P

@Lavabat: Jane would not want to harm them given their willingness to keep the Anakim from reaching Atlantis. She wouldn't want to destroy useful cannon fodder before she's had time to prepare a better defense.

@GabrielsThoughts: Heh, you've given me some Googling to do ;)

@Wolfie_Inu: Jane wants them to be cannon fodder. How kind of her. :P

@Lavabat: Hey, she's nothing if not pragmatic. Give her a chance she'll kill all humans, but if we're willing to be meat shields she won't say no. So long as we all die eventually :P

@Wolfie_Inu: That's why it is hard to like her! Especially if the Humans in question don't even know of the existence of Khanites.

Reply Wolfie_Inu, July 28th, 2013, 8:13 am

@Lavabat: Eh, you don't need to like her, just understand in general where she's coming from. She's not irrationally crazy to the extent that she'd attack any human in sight regardless of her tactical situation. It is possible for her to lose and she's aware of that.

Reply Lavabat, July 28th, 2013, 7:13 pm

@Wolfie_Inu: I know. Its just so easy to think of her as an evil super computer. >:3

Reply Wolfie_Inu, July 29th, 2013, 9:50 am

@Lavabat: That's... not completely inaccurate. :P
