So uiteindelik het ek weer die geleentheid om die comic op my pa se rekenaar te kan maak. Dis baie lekker want hy't 'n 22-duim skerm en 'n resolusie van 1920x1080. Baie beter as my 15-duim skootrekenaar teen 1366x768.

So at last I got the opportunity again to make the comic on my dad's computer. It's really great because it's got a 22-inch screen and a resolution of 1920x1080. Which is a lot better than my 15-inch laptop at 1366x768. You can see so much more of the page while you're working on it ...

Funny, when I began working on my dad's computer again, I could see that the last page that I made on it was no. 33. That was a while ago!

And yes, the scale of the environment/background is messed up. More reasons to start working in SketchUp.

PANEL 1
Jane: So ... up to the last moment they pretend to want to negotiate, while they're actually launching an attack ... / How utterly dishonorable ... / Listen, Louwrens ... we're going to have to get out of here quickly ...

PANEL 2
Jane: I took proper precautions ... and I have an extra vehicle for you. / I'll take you there. There's a driver ... and the car has space for six passengers - take whoever you want along, but don't take too long ... / I know what it is to lose a family - a world ...

PANEL 3
Jane: Follow me ...
Louwrens: (thinks) It's all too sudden ... I can't keep up ... / Now I won't be able to convince her any more that the Om-Ankh aren't all against her ... / All I can do is to get my parents away from here ... / And Alex-them*, ... except if ...

* = Afrikaans has a "-them" suffix which can be attached to anyone's name in order to include people directly associated with him/her. Some flavors of English do the same via the phrase "and them".

Perhaps "Alex and the others" or "Alex n'them" would be a better fit in the translation and then you wouldn't need further elaboration.

@GabrielsThoughts: True, but I try to create opportunities here and there to add translators' notes for interest's sake.

Translators notes I really like the translators notes that you include here and there. I was really intrigued by how "shame" can be used is place of "cute".

Arme Louwrens. Letterlik druipstert, en met sweet wat hom afloop. Innerlik in twee geskeur. Voorspoed, ou maat!
