Skool Nou goed, hy's in graad 7, dus is hy 13. Ek het uiteindelik besluit.

Right, so he's in 7th grade, meaning that he's 13. I've finally decided.

[The next morning ...]
Louwrens (in bus): Well, here we are, then ...

[Sign: "Saal" = "Hall"]
Louwrens: I never thought that I'd have to repeat seventh grade, but oh well ... "sella vee," as the Englishman says ...

[A bell rings.]
MACBETH: I go, and it is done. The bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell that summons thee to heaven or to hell. (Exeunt)

... not really. More like ...

Louwrens (off-screen): [Well, here we go ...]

Just FYI, it's common in Afrikaans to quote an English expression (either in English or directly translated), and then add before or after it the phrase "as the Englishman says," just to make it clear that you know you've committed an Anglicism.
